My simplest advice is to use an already-made template and free space...2 possibilities (both are on the resource CD and online resources for the training under "other cool stuff"):
-School Notes...very simplistic
-Scholastic Homepage Builder...a little "cooler"
Both are free and a great start for creating your own webpage for your class. Let me know if you try it and how it works out.
